The Process

Phase 1 will take 6 weeks and focus on exploration.

Step 1: Audit Past Results

Since CleverPup has no existing data, we will begin by running a competitor analysis to understand what ad angles other brands in this space are effectively utilizing.

Step 3: Build Ads

Once we’ve decided upon a set of 4-5 target audiences to focus on, we will build 2-4 ads per audience utilizing the creative assets CleverPup provides.

Step 5: Test & Iterate on Hooks & Angles

We will spend 4-6 weeks testing creative angles and hooks against each audience.


By the end of that time period, we’ll have acquired enough data to determine which audiences are performing best and how to profitably scale them.

Step 2: Determine Target Markets

Based on this analysis (and any other data we can get our hands on), we will identify several consumer markets to dig into, for example: DINKWADs, tech-savvy individuals, people with more than 1 pet, etc.

Step 4: Build Campaigns & Drive Traffic

We will build prospecting and retargeting campaigns driving qualified traffic from each audience to land on CleverPup's existing home page and various product pages.
